Emma has a lifelong fascination with color, light, and the relationship these elements have in nature. Her art is an expression of the emotional connection between her and the world around her, both observed and through memory. Her subject matter is primarily focused on her deep love for the natural world and all animals great and small.
She lives near Willard Beach in South Portland with her husband and senior cat Nala. Her recent paintings are inspired by the beauty of her everyday surroundings.
